ADULT CIRCUS CLASS: Level 2/Intermediate Sling Series – (3-wks) HARTFORD

Drop-in classes are great but the fastest way to progress is through consistency! This 4-week series is designed for the intermediate-level sling student. In this series, we add on to the base positions for sling and begin to incorporate more wraps, shapes, dynamic skills, and some intricate sequencing. We also dive into aerial theory to help master the more complicated sling skills. This class will focus on building inversion strength through drills and skills/tricks that contain hidden conditioning elements.

Sling classes are a great way to get strong while having fun. Each class begins with a sling-specific warm-up designed to prepare the body for aerial work.

Class dates: 8/7, 8/14, 8/21/24*

Pre-Requisite: Cross hip pullover from seated in the sling; Gazelle climb to hip key. You must have a regular sling practice and be familiar with the catchers wrap, seatbelt wrap, and waist corset. *If you need to miss one night of the series we’ve got you covered! Please note, that only one makeup session is allowed per series. Your options to make up the class are: 1) Apply credit to a solo 1-hour private sling lesson 2) Train during open studio time on your own, 3) Save 50%  on an aerial yoga class.
