Aerial Cirque/Sling
Interest in aerial yoga and the aerial arts is growing at a fast pace. Aerial yoga students naturally gravitate toward aerial sling/hammock classes where the focus is on shapes, tricks, rolls, flips, drops and innovative sequencing. Aerial cirque/sling is a dynamic and challenging class. Each class progresses from foundational aerial skills and builds to playful and accessible aerial tricks. Build strength, stamina, flexibility and competence in aerial skills and techniques. This class is more vigorous than a typical aerial yoga class and previous experience with aerial yoga and/or aerial fabric is strongly recommended. A great class for those who want to supplement their aerial training or wish to purse aerial training in the future. Skills acquired in cirque/sling are often transferrable to other aerial apparatus including lyra, dance trapeze and two-panel silks.
Pre-Requisite: Previous experience with aerial yoga or aerial silks/hammock is strongly recommended. While all are welcome, class experience will be more satisfying with some prior experience. Please email jayne@ctaerialyoga.com if you are uncertain if this class style is appropriate for your level of experience.
