Aerial Silks For Sling
Aerial silks, also known as aerial fabric or 2-panel silks, involves techniques for climbing, wrapping, inverting and locking. Training in aerial silks is an exciting and effective way to build strength and flexibility while having fun. If you primarily train in hammock/sling, or hoop/lyra, cross training in aerial silks can enhance your skills on your favorite circus apparatus. Each class begins with a thorough warm-up that includes strength conditioning and flexibility exercises along with a brief cool down. Class size is limited to 6 students. Pre-registration is required to attend this class. Instruction is geared toward beginning and advanced beginner students.

If you have to miss a class, you can make this class up in an aerial yoga class or cirque class within one month of the missed class.
Pre-Requisite: Aerial silks is physically demanding and mentally challenging. No previous experience in the aerial arts is required. It is recommended that you be in good physical condition, have an open attitude, a sense of humor, be willing to take instruction and embrace the physical conditioning required to become skilled in this apparatus.
