ADULT CIRCUS WORKSHOP: A Little Split Stronger

Back by popular demand is Jessa’s aerial splits workshop. Join us for this sling workshop that targets active flexibility training in order to give you the best splits in the air. This workshop will include a half-hour floor warm-up, with a focus on hip and legs. A proper split warm-up is important for any apparatus and we will go over key points before taking our splits into the air. We will work on several split variations on the sling which are directly translated from a split-informed grounded warmup.

Pre-Requisites: Advanced beginner. Must have an active practice in aerial sling. Please bring a yoga mat and yoga blocks to class if you have them.

A note about this class: this is not a flexibility class. Our goal is not to improve the end reach of our splits (though, these exercises can help you increase your range) But rather focus on safe, active, splits in the air.
