Unnata® Aerial Yoga Flows

Unnata® Aerial Yoga Flows
Many yoga lineages begin their movement sequences with Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar). During the Sun Salutation, one continuous flow of movement is synchronized to the breath’s rhythm, which immediately stills and focuses the mind as the body warms up. Even though Sun Salutations are a perfect way to dive into a challenging yoga class, most aerial yoga classes don’t start with Sun Salutations, due to the difficulty of quickly and smoothly positioning the aerial yoga hammock.
Michelle Dortignac, the developer of the aerial yoga movement, has devoted the past 15 years to creating ways to integrate the hammock into a traditional yoga class, including inventing several ways to use the hammock for Sun Salutations. In this workshop, you will learn how to use the hammock for Sun Salutations without breaking the natural flow of movement and breath, so that you can begin even the most challenging aerial yoga class from a peaceful place.
