A yoga inversion is generally categorized as any posture in which the head is below the heart. In this 90-minute workshop come experience the benefits of going upside down. Using a combination of floor and aerial asana, we will explore headstand, handstand and forearm stand along with gentler variations such as downward dog, standing forward folds, and legs up the wall. This workshop will incorporate the wall, the aerial hammock, and some conditioning exercises to take home with you to further your practice. The benefits of yoga inversions are well known and include improved circulation, better balance, increased core strength, and increased confidence.
Pre-Requisites: Some yoga experience and the willingness to go upside down. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, notebook & pen to take notes on conditioning exercises.
