The knee corset is one of the most dynamic and versatile wraps in aerial sling. So many transitions seem to land in a knee corset, and many aerialists find themselves in the wrap unintentionally. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll break down this foundational wrap with a mix of symmetrical and asymmetrical entries, common exits, and a little wrap theory to deepen your understanding. Learn how to create a strong and safe knee corset wrap, on purpose!
You’ll learn entries from back straddle, horse, standing, hip key, thigh hitch, and even a hands-free exit for more advanced students. Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or expand your sling vocabulary, there’s something for everyone in this workshop. We will close the workshop with an extended cool-down, leaving you centered, content, balanced, and fully connected to your body.
Open to advanced beginner, intermediate, and advanced sling students.
Pre-requisites: A regular sling practice and comfort with bent arm lock-offs, back straddle, half catchers, and catchers climb.
