Jayne Dean, Owner, Instructor (Unnata™ aerial yoga, sling, dance trapeze, silks, Shake Your Soul®: the yoga of dance)

Jayne completed her 200-hour yoga certification at the Kripalu Yoga Center in 2012. She completed Unnata® Aerial Yoga Level 1 teacher training in 2013, Level 2  in 2014, and Level 3 in 2021. Jayne is a circus enthusiast training in the flying trapeze and aerial fabric since 1998. Jayne’s interest in the aerial arts extends naturally from her time as a competitive gymnast. Jayne is a teacher/guide/mentor and life-long student with a passion for learning and teaching others. She is one of only two people to achieve Level 2 sling certification through the Born To Fly™ Aerial Teacher Training program. She is also a certified Level 1 & 2 trapeze instructor through Paper Doll Militia.

Katy Lather, (sling, lyra/aerial hoop instructor) is a lyra (aerial hoop) enthusiast who has had trouble staying off the hoop ever since her first straddle inversion. With a foundation in aerial hammock, she decided to expand her skills to lyra. Her lyra practice, combined with her higher education teaching background, led her to teach hoop. With a passion for learning, she received her teaching certification through Spin City Aerial Fitness. Katy’s class is a safe and welcoming space to try a new apparatus or to expand and strengthen aerial skills while reaching new heights in your aerial practice.

Jessa Audet, aerial arts instructor. After a lifelong love for the circus, Jessa began her journey with aerials in 2015 at the Aircraft Aerial Arts in Somerville, MA. As her passions for the aerial arts grew, she expanded her training and began to focus on performance opportunities. In 2017, she moved to Colorado where she enrolled at Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance Studio in Boulder. The school’s heavy focus on performance based choreography truly helped to develop her confidence and artistry and provided the opportunity to add many traditional and invented apparatuses to her repertoire. Jessa graduated from the Frequent Flyers Intensive Training program in 2019, which solidified her foundation as a multi-faceted aerialist/choreographer, and provided her with numerous performance experiences.  Jessa is certified in lyra and silks through the Born To Fly™ Aerial Teacher Training program. As a self-proclaimed aerial theory nerd, Jessa sought to turn her love of sharing skills and techniques with others into an aerial teaching career and continues to perform and share her depth of knowledge with aerial students around the country.

Erin Sexton, aerial yoga instructor, completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Soul Space Yoga in 2019. She completed a 35-hour aerial yoga teacher training at RaMa LuNa Center for Yoga & Well-Being in 2021. She’s been practicing aerial yoga and aerial arts for a little over 4 years. She fell in love with aerial yoga the minute she got into a hammock! She’s looking forward to teaching aerial yoga and sharing her love for the practice with students at CT Aerial Yoga!

Crystal Cassetori, aerial arts instructor. Crystal’s love of aerial arts began when she took an aerial silks class in 2018. She enjoys trying any apparatus she can get her body on but focuses on Lyra (aerial hoop) and sling. She began teaching beginner and intermediate lyra at Air Temple Arts in 2020, and has completed Paper Doll Militia’s Lyra Level 1 and Level 2 lyra teacher training programs. She is passionate about continuing her aerial education through participating in workshops and classes with industry-leading artists and intensive training weekends at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA). Crystal would love to help you get started on your own aerial journey
