She completed Unnata® Aerial Yoga Level 1 training in 2013 and soon thereafter opened Connecticut Aerial Yoga. Jayne is a circus enthusiast training in the flying trapeze and aerial fabric since 1998. Jayne’s interest in the aerial arts extends naturally from her time as a competitive gymnast. Jayne is a teacher/guide/mentor and life-long student with a passion for learning and teaching others. She completed Unnata® Level 2 aerial yoga training in August 2014 and became certified in the Aerial Play & Fitness™ method in February 2017. Jayne has attended a number of sling immersions through the New England Center for the Circus Arts (NECCA) and is currently in the process of Level 2 sling certification through the Born To Fly™ Aerial Teacher Training program under the guidance of Rebekah Leach.
Katy Lather, Instructor (Lyra, aerial fitness) is an lyra (aerial hoop) enthusiast who has had trouble staying off the hoop ever since her first straddle inversion. With a foundation in aerial hammock, she decided to expand her skills to lyra. Her lyra practice, combined with her higher education teaching background, led her to teaching hoop. Katy’s class is a safe and welcoming space to try a new apparatus or to expand and strengthen aerial skills while reaching new heights in your aerial practice.
Jessa Audet,Instructor (Silks, Lyra, Sling) After a lifelong love for the circus, Jessa Audet began her journey with aerials in 2015 at the Aircraft Aerial Arts in Somerville, MA. As her passions for the aerial arts grew, she expanded her training program and began to focus on performance opportunities. In 2017, she moved to Colorado where she enrolled at Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance Studio in Boulder. The school’s heavy focus on performance based choreography truly helped to develop her confidence and artistry, as well as provide the opportunity to add many traditional and invented apparatuses to her repertoire. Jessa graduated from the Frequent Flyers Intensive Training program in 2019, which solidified her foundation as a multi-faceted aerialist/choreographer, and provided her with numerous performance experiences. As a self-proclaimed aerial theory nerd, Jessa sought to turn her love of sharing skills and techniques with others into an aerial teaching career. She is currently a Teacher in Training resident at Aerial Works in Castle Rock, CO on track to graduate in January 2021, and continues to perform and share her depth of knowledge with aerial students around the country.
