My first class at CT Aerial Yoga was on the aerial hoop. I am now taking aerial yoga and aerial sling classes too. This is the first time that I have felt passionate about movement and exercise practices that are not about losing weight or associated with having a certain body type. I showed up, tried new things, gained strength, and listened to my body when I needed to rest and refocus. I am so excited to take more classes, to get stronger and learn more!
Jayne was awesome – so patient and accepting – she helped us become more comfortable with the inversions, each one at our own pace and with any needed modifications – we were even able to all do hand stands! And this was my husband’s first yoga experience! We would definitely do this again – and have brunch afterwards! My back feels so terrific – another bonus! Try it – you’ll be amazed!
Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, give aerial yoga a try. I left class feeling empowered and exhilarated. I was able to deepen my practice and have fun too. Jayne is a patient, seasoned yoga teacher who makes everyone, at every skill level, feel comfortable.
Aerial yoga is liberating. Forget about the limits of the mat and delve into the most challenging of inversions with grace and ease. I was amazed at what I could do. It was exciting and safe at the same time. If you love Savasana, you'll love it even more in the cradled comfort of your own fabric cocoon.
This class is really unique. Jayne guided me in a way that I could still go at my own pace, skill level and flexibility. I got a great workout.

I thought the class would be really hard and I wouldn't be able to do most postures. It was easy to find each pose and I enjoyed inversions in a whole new way. I can see how I will be able to build muscle and strength while also having fun.
