Drop-in classes are great but the fastest way to progress is through consistency! Come learn the foundations of aerial hoop/lyra in a small-group setting with this beginner 4-week series class! Learn a variety of ways to safely mount (straddle & tuck) and dismount the apparatus. Work on your aerial technique at your own pace. Learn proper technique and smooth transitions. You will be challenged according to your ability and will build core and upper body strength in the process. Each class begins with a warm-up designed to prepare the body for aerial work and a brief cool down. Each class is a great full-body workout as you learn poses in a progressive manner.
Training in lyra is an exciting and effective way to build strength and flexibility while having fun. Whether you are new to lyra, or train in other aerial modalities, cross-training in lyra can enhance your skills on your favorite circus apparatus. Open to all levels of experience. Pre-registration is required. Class dates: 5/6/, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27/21
